Montesod 10 contains Montelukast Sodium 10 mg, a prescription medication classified as a leukotriene receptor antagonist. It is primarily used to manage and prevent chronic asthma, relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, and prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.

Montelukast works by blocking leukotrienes — natural substances in the body that cause inflammation, tightening of airways, and allergic symptoms. By inhibiting these chemicals, Montesod 10 helps to improve airflow, reduce asthma symptoms, and control allergy-related nasal issues.

Indications:

• Long-term treatment and prevention of asthma

• Relief from allergic rhinitis (sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose)

• Prevention of exercise-induced asthma
